Issue description
Hello,

I use a french layout (not the azerty, but the bépo), and I can't assign all my keys that are non-ascii : éèà«»ç I think it could be a limitation of SDL, but I heard they were handling unicode now, could it help ?

Steps to reproduce this issue
  • Go to customize keyboard configuration
  • Click on any action button you want to replace
  • Press any of the non-ASCII keys of your keyboard
=> Nothing will happen

Assuming this is no longer an issue with SDL 2.

The issue was updated with the following change(s):
  • The status has been updated, from New to Not a bug.
  • This issue has been closed
  • The resolution has been updated, from Not determined to CAN'T REPRODUCE.
