Steps to reproduce this issue
Game went right to this error screen. Never started. To be fair, it was glitchy in opengl on the latest stable build. Might be related to my current computer.

Has an IntelHD 4000 inboard videocard.

Hi,

for some reason the game ends up the software OpenGL implementation. Can you try updating your graphics drivers?
