Steps to reproduce this issue
After rescuing Alia from being sacrificed and failing to destroy the meteor stone, I was exiting left out of the meteor room. I pressed the stone in the wall that raises the wall through to the goblin prison and as I entered the prison, the cutscene where Iserbius kills Erzog in the jail started. The fatal error keeps occurring just as he kills Erzog. If I don't try to destroy the meteor before exiting, the killing of Erzog cutscene is not triggered and I can enter the goblin prison next to the guard post manager office without the fatal error occurring. Without Am Shaegar trying to destroy the meteor, the main story quest cannot continue. The way around the issue was to completely backtrack to the stairs that lead to the Yellow Tulip tavern instead which triggered the killing of Erzog cutscene but without the fatal error so I was able to continue playing ok.

If this is a duplicate of Crash report 891 - [7A15A6C1] arx.exe!audio::OpenALBackend::setListenerPosition() [openalbackend.cpp:384], then the stated fix of turning down mouse acceleration to zero for that issue should sort this issue. It does not. Tested it and the fatal error still occurs with mouse acceleration turned off. This issue has been closed off too readily as a duplicate that is fixed. It isn't.

Do you have a save file to reproduce this?

Hi Daniel, sorry for the delay. I have not checked this forum for a couple of weeks but to answer, yes, I do still have a save file of just before Am Shaegar attempts to destroy the meteor so the fatal error can hopefully be reproduced. The only problem is, because the issue report has been closed, the 'attach file' button is not available for me to upload it. If you can reopen it, I will attach the save file.

My saved game file of just before Am Shaegar attempts to destroy the meteor after saving Alia from sacrifice. After failing to destroy the meteor, if he exits left out of the room and attempts to enter the goblin prison area through the secret wall, it triggers the cutscene where you watch Suiberis/Iserbius kill Erzog and then crashes with the fatal error.
