Issue description
When player dies, script commands for "DIE" events are no longer working in the newest 1.3 snapshot
Steps to reproduce this issue
Die and there aren't effects when dying/commands

I haven't been able to reproduce this. With both 1.3-dev-2022-04-09 and git master I still get the PLAY "player_death" and randomized death cry from the default player.asl

Can you provide an example of what doesn't work? Also please mention the exact version you are using.
