Issue description
Greetings. I have some troubles with font on russian localization. I have question symbols instead cyrillic font. Screenshot included. http://imageshack.us/f/87/arx2012102422380314.jpg/

Hi, this means that Arx Libertatis didn't find the font with Cyrillic characters - there should be a arx_russian.ttf in the misc directory.

What OS are you using?

Where did you install Arx Fatalis from? Steam or a CD?

If you didn't install AF using Steam, did you install the official 1.21 patch before installing Arx Libertatis?

Also, can you please post your arx.log file - it's located in

  • <profile>\\My Documents\My Games\Arx Libertatis for Windows XP
  • <profile>\Saved Games\Arx Libertatis for Windows Vista, 7 and 8
  • ~/Library/Application Support/ArxLibertatis/ for OS X
  • ~/.local/share/arx/ for Linux

indeed. Big sorry, biiig sorry for that stupid bug report. Our original game don't use an arx_russian font file. so i just copy file to misc folder with russian name and its worker. Sorry again for my stupidity, im ashamed
