Steps to reproduce this issue
I started a new game and used the "Cheat Bone" (according to http://wiki.arx-libertatis.org/Cheats#Cheat_Bone). After playing for some hours, I defeated Ator in the Goblin Kingdom and relocked the door to the room where the Troll Idol was hidden from the outside. Then I started to repeat the following sequence to reach the next character level: - try tp lockpick the door - on success: relock with key (on keyring), quicksave, continue - on failure: reload last quicksave, continue After some 20 loads, the game crashed while loading. I had been using the sequence earlier on the Goblin armory door up to level 4, too.

Note: Something strange happened when I accessed the Troll's region by means of the Levitate spell before entering Arx for the first time: when I activated Pog and he talked about being a friend of Lunshire (whom I had not talked to yet at that point) and asked for the King's note (which I obviously did not have), the cutscene played with the interface (inventory etc.) visible. I did not use mouse or keyboard, though, so I cannot tell what the outcome of that would have been.

Looks like something went wrong with getting the stack trace.

Can you install the arx-libertatis-dbg package if you don't have it already? This will allow gdb to collect more detailed information if the game crashes again.

Also, if the bug is reproducible it would help to have the save file.

Btw: The attached log indicates that there is a broken/corruped save file at ~/.local/share/arx/save/save0001/gsave.sav

We can't do anything here without more information (complete backtrace with debug symbols / the broken save file / a way to reproduce this).

The issue was updated with the following change(s):
