Issue description
Bought Arx Fatalis during this winter steam sale and it is great. I installed Arx Libertatis and noticed low fps issues. I then changed the renderer to D3D9 and it worked flawlessly. I am playing the game on a laptop with integrated Intel HD graphics (ver. 9.17.10.4229 - the latest one). Atm I am playing this game with D3D9 and apart from some minor graphical glitches (weird white texture glitch-stuff when moving through spider webs) it's working fine. Seeing that the next patch will remove the support for d3d9, I decided to report this issue. So is this Intel graphics card fault (bad opengl support) or something in the code?
Steps to reproduce this issue

Is the performance with the latest development snapshot still bad?

What framerates do you get with D3D and OpenGL - you can use the F11 key to show the current fps.

Also, please attach the arx.log file from your user directory.
