However, as the escape key not only exits to the main menu but also resumes the game when in the main menu, this will mean that there is no constant key sequence to open the menu (and thereby pause the game) - depending on what you have open it might either need an odd or even number of escape presses. As the main menu is the only way to pause the game, this is something we should avoid. However, this is not a new problem - inside conversations the escape key ends conversations first (see Feature request 134 - You should always be able to exit to the main menu).
Maybe we should also remove the resume game action from the escape key so that you can always just spam the escape they to exit to the menu and stay there.
