Issue description
It's strange.

Kill a Ysilde, then go hide somewhere where you can't see it (behind a wall for instance, though i think turning around will work too) Wait for the explosion Wait some more. Then look where the explosion took place - you'll see the explosion particle effect.

This can be seen in the save file in Bug report 525 - Lord Inut does not spawn weapon on death - Lord Inut uses the ylside_death effect.

This has been fixed in git master.
