Issue description
Hello,

when I want to compile the code using
    cmake .
I get the error message "!! No suitable (32- vs. 64-bit) version of DevIL found"

The problem is that DevIL is not compiled using -pthread. Adding this flag fixes the problem.

I use ArchLinux, gcc 4.5.2, cmake 2.8.4
Steps to reproduce this issue
Nothing entered.
