Issue description
Once I've arrive at the temple of Akbaa the second time, to destroy the meteor with the rings, the game started to frequently crash during gameplay. It didn't crash while doing something specific, nor did it crash in the same place. sometimes it crashed during combat, othertimes during spellcasting, in the temple, in the city of Arx. can't figure out why to reproduce. It didn't crash at all untill the second visit to the temple of Akbaa.

Steps to reproduce this issue
1.start game 2.load recent save 3. play until crash.

The crash reporter application should allow you to upload the files from the crash. If you create an account here, you can manually attach them to this bug report using the "Attach a file" button in the top right. If that does not work for you, upload the files somewhere else and link them so that I can attach them for you.

Note: There is currently a known issue with the arrow trail / speed spell effect causing crashes for many users: Crash report 1468 - Shooting with the bow implementation crashes the game.

thanks man. logged in and uploaded crash files. I'm not using a bow or speed spell. only the fireball spell.

Thanks.

This is the same problem as the previously mentioned bow/speed issue.

Even if you do not use the speed spell yourself, NPCs can cast it too.

The issue was updated with the following change(s):
  • This issue's description has been changed
  • The status has been updated, from New to Not a bug.
  • This issue has been closed
  • The resolution has been updated, from Not determined to DUPLICATE.

Hopefully fixed in the latest development snapshot - please verify.
